It started with a suggestion from a friend.

“Hey, can you teach a class in the community? I want to start lifting weights”.

I was 4 months into mat leave and had been toying with the idea of teaching a strength training class in the community.

I sent an e-mail out to my newsletter list and within hours it had sold out.

Whoa… was I on to something?

This isn’t your average fitness class.

It’s a space for moms and parents in our community to come together and get strong.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Deadlift with proper form

  • Squat with a barbell on your back

  • Bench press with confidence

  • Lift heavier weights than you thought was possible

No endless cardio. No burpees for the sake of burpees. Just smart, effective strength training designed to help you feel strong in your body to respond to the demands of your life.

Strength Training, Redefined

Each 8 week session is expertly programmed with a focus on 4 major lifts. Each lift will progress over the 8 weeks allowing you to gradually and progressively increase the weights and get stronger than you ever thought was possible.

Classes are small (max 6-8), ensuring you get my eyes on you throughout the entire class. Never strength trained before? No problem! We’ll start slow and you’ll be given all the tools you need to feel confident and capable lifting.

And the best part?

No body shaming. No diet talk. Just a welcoming, inclusive space for women to celebrate each other, connect and get STRONG.

Meet Your Coach

Hey, I’m Hannah (she/her), and I’m so glad you’re here!

As a strength and conditioning coach with specialized training in pregnancy and postpartum, I bring a deep understanding of movement and a sharp eye for detail to every class.

With a master’s degree in dance science and over a decade of experience training folks of all ages and ability including elite athletes, professional dancers as well as those in the perinatal season of life, I’m all about helping you build strength in a way that feels good for your body.

Strength training isn’t just about lifting weights—it’s about moving in community, feeling strong and capable in your life, and knowing you’re building strong bodies that can carry you through your very demanding life.

And that is exactly what these classes are all about. This is a space where every body is welcome, absolutely no diet talk or body shaming —just connection, and movement that meets you where you’re at. I can’t wait to train with you!
