The Core Connection Breath
The core connection breath is an exercise that helps you connect to your pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles in a subtle and gentle way. This is one of my all time favourite exercises. I teach it to almost all of my clients (pregnant, postpartum, or none of the above). It’s the first exercise that I give clients after giving birth and you can start it whenever you are ready (you don’t have to wait until your 6 week check up).
Are you ‘breathing correctly’? 🙄 🙄 🙄
How is it, that something which is supposed to be automatic has turned into one of the most confusing things to understand. Shouldn’t breathing just be breathing (cue exhale of relief?)
The Toddler Hip Carry
I’d argue it’s a survival mechanism for toddler parents. And while it serves many great purposes (allows us to function when our clingy toddler doesn’t want to be put down) it sure can wreak havoc on our bodies. It’s probably the most common adaptation I see in parents of toddlers in my clinic.
I’d love to work with you
